About Me
Professional Sichuan Opera Face-Changing Artist | Cultural Innovator
Jin Sun
Face-Changing Artist · Performer · Visual Creator
With over 15 years of stage experience, Jin Sun is the only artist in Macao professionally trained in Sichuan Opera Bian Lian (Face-Changing) in Sichuan, China. His performances exemplify fusion art by seamlessly blending traditional mastery with modern innovation, including customized themed masks and cross-genre creative collaborations with pop culture.
Recently invited by One Cool Film Production, he starred in the official music video for Supper Moment's "Disintegration of Contradiction" (矛盾直接瓦解), skillfully integrating the traditional art of face-changing into contemporary cinematic language.
A pioneer in Macao's performing arts scene, Jin became the first local artist to complete a residency at The Venetian Macao in 2011 and headlined the grand opening ceremony of Sands Cotai Central in 2012. He currently performs regularly at H853 Fun Factory at Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, dedicated to showcasing the dynamic charm of Eastern cultural heritage to global audiences.
